Wallace-Ruby Morales

Wallace-Ruby Morales lives in a remote part of Alaska. To reach the nearest McDonald’s, head out of town past the flashing light, take the first paved left, and it is on the right at the second light. That covers a distance of about three hundred miles. She enjoys dancing, singing, snow shoeing, learning how to cross-country ski, and teaching her Pomeranians, Makana and Kismet, to skijor. Her work has appeared in Black Heart, The Griffin, Muddy River Poetry Review, Organs of Visions and Speech Magazine, Rougarou, The Round, and Softblow.
