 Kathryn Nuernberger is the author of a collection of poems, Rag & Bone, which won the Antivenom prize and was published by Elixir Press in 2011. More recent work appears in 32 Poems, Green Mountains Review, Indiana Review, Ninth Letter, West Branch, and elsewhere. She is an assistant professor of Creative Writing at University of Central Missouri, where she also serves as the director of Pleiades Press. The poems in The Ringtail Gospels were inspired by Sarah Nguyen’s paintings, “Sacrificing the Husband” and “Fox Fires,” which can be seen at www.sanguyen.com.
