John Henry Fleming

John Henry Fleming’s stories have appeared in McSweeney’s, The North American Review, Mississippi Review, Fourteen Hills, Atticus Review, and Carve, among others. He’s the author of The Legend of the Barefoot Mailman, a novel, and Fearsome Creatures of Florida, a literary bestiary. He teaches creative writing at the University of South Florida and is the founder and advisory editor of Saw Palm: Florida Literature and Art. His new novel, The Book I Will Write, about a writer, a publisher, Michael Jackson, a secret society of zeppelin enthusiasts, and many other things, will be published in serial form at the Atticus Books website beginning July 9, and he’d very much like you to read it.
