J. Marcus Weekley currently works as a server at Chili's in D'Iberville (MS), though he doesn't know how long that will last, but his photographs accompany the creative nonfiction essays of Gail Folkins in Texas Dance Halls: a Two-Step Circuit (September 2007, Texas Tech University Press). Marcus has also worked at Lerner's NY, McDonald's, Vogelweh Bowling Center (Kaiserslautern, Germany), Trade Secrets, and other places, and his writing has appeared, or is forthcoming, in Thieves Jargon, Relief, Poetry International, Versal, and others.
