 David Dodd Lee is the author of nine books of poems, including Animalities (Four Way Books, 2014). He is also a painter and collage artist (his last one person show was “All You Need is an Allen Wrench: Collages” in 2014, which included text from several Ashbery erasures). He is currently working on a series of large paintings on canvas and a book of short stories called Dogwood. And Others’ Vaguer Presences is the title of his second manuscript of Ashbery erasure poems (from which “No Longer Very Clear” is a part). Sky Booths in the Breath Somewhere, his first book of Ashbery erasures, was published in 2010.
