Danielle Bero
Danielle Bero was born and raised in Queens, New York and now lives in California, where she is an urban public school educator and administrator. She is the winner of the Nuyorican Slam 2004, Glam Slam Bowery Poetry Club 2005, Lehigh Valley Slam 2006, Ubud Writer’s Festival Open Mic 2007 and the Apollo Teacher’s 2011. Her work is published in Marquis Literary Magazine, New American Writing, Lavender Review, Quiet Lightning, and Sinister Wisdom.
