Brendan Basham was born in Alaska and raised in northern Arizona, where he is a member of the Navajo Nation: Tósohnii, Bit’ahnii; Bilagáana. His work has appeared in Sheepshead Review. After graduating from the Evergreen State College, he became chef and co-owner of two restaurants in Puerto Rico. He was a resident at Vermont Studio Center. Brendan currently lives in Portland, where he is working on a novel.
