Vacation

Season cycles the tongue

Once in a while

A dog. Grandfathered by morning waves

Salt-rot teeth and you lose six, seven

Updraft my flaking body

A dog. I am trying to learn patience

From the defense mechanisms of jungle plants

Slow coral abrasion, the knuckle, the chin

Let a thing sleep

Let a thing feel hunger

Wait, eyelash viper

Dig up guilt

Over locating us in time

A stray. Shortsighted kindness

Follows you home
