Lydia only dates musicians.

Drawn to their transient ways,

Insightful souls,

And masterful hands.

Queen of the barflys;

She reigns until last call,

Basking in second-hand celebrity.

Scientists, stockbrokers, schoolteachers—

She shuns their affections, artistic integrity intact.

Unless they play a little sax on the side . . .
